What's this blog about?

Well, hey everybody! You might be questioning what this blog is about. Well apart from the obvious, this is to help you with all your iPod touch needs. Any problems, questions, or help needed will all be here. I will casually write up long detailed articles about the latest iPod Touch news and discussions.

For the first post of this blog, I will be showing and explaining the different types of iPod Touch devices owned by Apple. To start off, these devices go way back in history. Before the iPod Touch there were many other iPod devices which were also owned by Apple.

It all started off with the iPod Shuffle. The iPod Shuffle is the first digital audio player designed and marketed by Apple.  It came with no screen only a button feature to play, rewind, fast forward and pause your music. This generation of the iPod Shuffle had a capacity of 512MB  to 4GB. Nowadays the latest iPod (iPod touch 4) can fit a massive 64GB! This iPod Shuffle is a very plain and original device in my opinion.

Next up we have the iPod Nano. This device is a digital media player designed and marketed by Apple. The first generation of iPod Nano was introduced on September 7, 2005 as a replacement for the iPod Mini. The iPod Nano has one better feature than the iPod Shuffle as it has a screen to show you the name and the artist of the song playing. The capacity range for this generation of iPod is 1GB to 16GB. This was my first type of iPod when I was young, and it's fair to say this is a good device for playing your music.

Now we have the generation of the iPod Classic. This device is a portable media player marketed and designed by Apple. The current generation is by far the most capacious iPod with 160GB of storage. That's an estimate of 40,000 high quality songs! This was one impressive feature Apple added to this generation of iPods. The iPod Classic was shaped like a mini brick, it was quite heavy and it would of been annoying to carry it around in your pocket, if it wasn't for that, this iPod was probably one of the best. Even though this iPod wasn't a touch, it was similar to the iPod Nano but weighs more and has a huge capacity difference.

Last but not least we have the iPod Touch!  The iPod Touch is aportable media playerpersonal digital assistanthandheld game console, and Wi-Fi mobile device designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The iPod Touch adds the multi-touch graphical user interface to the iPod line. It is the first iPod with wireless access to the iTunes Store, and also has access to Apple's App Store, enabling content to be purchased and downloaded directly on the device. As of March 2011, Apple has sold over 60 million iPod Touch units. This by far was Apple's best creation. The new iPod 4 also includes, video recording, camera, and a storage capacity range of 8GB to 64GB which is plenty of fun! In my opinion, this was my second iPod I had ever bought and it was honestly one of the best!
